“As the GM of a large urban hotel with many unique assets, it's interesting to find unique ways to market those assets, invite our community into our hotel to enjoy what's part of the neighborhood and expose the quality of services we offer and the employees that support those efforts.  When Sue Graves, a previous hotelier, now solution consultant for the hospitality industry met me and welcomed me to the city of Columbus she shared a few solutions with me. One of those solutions helped me make over $25k in unfound revenue utilizing assets of the hotel in just 2 months of operation.  Additionally, I was able to turn one of my best part time associates to full time with this solution.  I have a huge rooftop pool deck that was underutilized.  In an urban location surrounded by apartment buildings and condos without a pool I was able to increase both the utilization of the pool area, increase my F&B and invite the community to share the joy of this treasure right downtown.  We're looking forward to capitalizing on this opportunity by starting early this year welcoming the community to our beautiful hotel to enjoy the pool area and libations as well.  Thanks Sue and I look forward to more solutions.”
